Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s ‘Drishyam’ was a critically acclaimed movie released back in 2015. The makers hence decided to remake the sequel, ‘Drishyam 2’ despite six years gap and the great reviews the Malayalam version has received. Tabu is preparing to shoot for this sequel along with Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Ishita Datta in December 2021. The first film was directed by late Nishikant Kamat, but after his passing in 2020, nobody’s name has been revealed yet to helm the project. Producer of both the films, Kumar Mangat Pathak, may just rope-in Jeethu Joseph, who is the director of the original in Malayalam.
