Sherlyn Chopra had announced that she will spill the beans against Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty at the Juhu Police Station. Taking action against the same, Shilpa and Raj issued a statement through their lawyers, warning Sherlyn of dire legal consequences. The couple’s lawyer said in a statement, “The due process of law must be followed for the alleged statement that Miss Chopra wants to make. Calling for a press conference to do this reflects a strong intention to commit an offence of defamation. Anything spoken by Miss Chopra in the public domain shall be held against her in the court of law. She shall be liable for civil and criminal proceedings before competent courts.” Sherlyn had alleged that Raj had sexually assaulted her and the actress was also questioned for hours when he was behind bars in an alleged porn production case. Despite their warning, Sherlyn did hold the press conference as planned today.
