Shahid Kapoor is waiting for ‘Jersey’ to release and expectations are running high. And why not! After all, it took more than a decade for him to enter the coveted Rs 200-crore club. Still excited with this fact, Shahid says, “I went to everyone who had been a part of the Rs 200-crore plus movies in the industry after ‘Kabir Singh’ released. My film did such a big business after working here for 15-16 long years! I had never been a part of this club. My well-wishers asked me to choose an aggressive character for which I went through many subjects and stories. Out of all those, ‘Jersey’ stayed with me.” Shahid is gearing up to hopefully repeat history with ‘Jersey’ releasing in cinemas December 31st.
