2021 hasn’t gone too well for most people including the Indian film industry. While many films ditched the theatrical release circuit and opted for OTT platforms, celebrities too had to bear the brunt of coronavirus. Many actors were infected with Covid-19, but fortunately came out victorious. From Ranbir Kapoor to Alia Bhatt and even one of the fittest actors of the fraternity, Akshay Kumar was infected. Lucky for all that timely treatment and isolation helped these stars quickly recover and test negative. Then in line were recent newlyweds Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif along with Bhumi Pednekar who tested positive at the beginning of April. Considered the common man’s hero, Sonu Sood then announced that he was infected with Covid-19 while helping people reach home or get them jobs. The latest entrant in this list are Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora who contracted the virus just a couple of weeks back. Both are said to be fine and following safety protocols.
