Director Ali Abbas Zafar & Vashu Bhagnani have pulled off a casting coup of sorts by roping in Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff for an upcoming film. The two A-list actors will be seen in the film titled ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. It will be backed by Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment. As the title suggests, it will be a take from the Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda film with a similar title which was released back in 1998. The older version was an instant hit. For the new one, producer Vashu Bhagnani says, “It’s a film very close to my heart as it brought together two legends Amitji and Govinda, and was directed by my favourite Davidji (David Dhawan). I am so humbled to have Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff be our Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan for a new generation of audiences in 2023.” The film is scheduled to release during the Christmas of 2023.
