Kangana Ranaut and the ‘Dhaakad’ team worked at blitzkrieg speed to wind-up the film as early as possible. Since the theatres are gradually opening with more capacity and are expected to run at 100 percent occupancy soon, the makers don’t want to delay it further. Grabbing this opportunity, director Razneesh Razy Ghai and producers Deepak Mukut and Sohel Maklaihave have decided to release ‘Dhaakad’ on May 27, 2022. Excited about the news, Kangana says, “The film had to be made on a certain scale that had to be tailored to the vast vision of its makers. India has never seen a women action entertainer of this scale. I can’t wait for the audience to meet Agent Agni. She will blow their minds with her fury and power.” ‘Dhaakad’ is releasing in three languages other than Hindi, namely Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
