The Vivek Agnihotri directed and Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumaar and Pallavi Joshi starrer ‘The Kashmir Files’ is making all the right noises. While it was initially surrounded by controversy as to why the cast was not called on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ to promote the film, later fans thronged the theatres in hordes to catch the movie. ‘The Kashmir Files’ is minting money at the box office not because of promotions, but because of it’s powerful content. Released on March 11th, it collected Rs 3.55 crore on the first day of its release. The next two days saw a massive jump in the collection as ‘The Kashmir Files’ took in Rs 8.50 crore and Rs 15.10 crore at the ticket windows. Standing at a tall figure of Rs 27.15 crore in three days, ‘The Kashmir Files’ is expected to earn much more in the coming weeks as ther positive word of mouth will keep attracting audiences.
