Kangana Ranaut revealed a secret that she kept close all her life. In a shocking revelation, Kangana disclosed that she was sexually abused when she was a child. In the recent web show ‘Lock Upp’, which she is hosting, comedian Munawar Faruqui started narrating his story as to how he was sexually abused when he was just 6 or 7. The scar was so deep that it’s stayed with him all these years. Feeling the pain, Kangana too opened up with moist eyes and revealed that she was also inappropriately touched by a boy in her town when she was a child, “This has been experienced by many including me. In my town when I was quite small, a boy who was a few years older than me, used to inappropriately touch me.” This revelation only confirms how such abuse is still rampant and needs to be addressed. By speaking out, it raising more awareness and perhaps starts a bigger dialogue.
