Fans were eagerly waiting for news that ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ may have its original cast Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in special roles. But director Anees Bazmee reveals that that is not the case. Denying it all, Bazmee says, “Akshay Kumar is a great actor and we are good friends as well. How we wish we could have brought them in as it would have naturally been a profitable business. But Akki and Vidya did not fit the script as we have taken a very different approach to it. Everyone’s character (except Rajpal Yadav) is fresh.” Many filmmakers are falling back on the original cast when it comes to filming sequels or remakes. As for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, the film features a completely new leading cast including Kartik Aaryan, Tabu and Kiara Advani.
