Sushmita Sen is gearing up to play a very important role. The actress, whose name and fame only kept rising with two seasons of her web series ‘Aarya’, has signed a film based on a transgender. Titled ‘Taali’, this too will hit be exclusive to an OTT platform. Confirming her role, Sushmita said, “Nothing makes me prouder and more grateful than to have the privilege of portraying this beautiful person and of bringing her story to the world! Here’s to life and to everyone’s right to live it with dignity!” She also revealed her first look from the film. ‘Taali’ is a real-life story of a transgender social worker Gauri Sawant, who has appeared on the Amitabh Bachchan hosted famous quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 9’ as a special guest.
