Remakes, remakes and more remakes. If you are a Bollywood fan then you’d know that the Hindi film industry is full of remakes, either from Hollywood or from the Southern film fraternity. And Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s ‘Drishyam 2’ is no exception. While some would claim that it is a sequel to the 2013 hit ‘Drishyam’, it is in fact a remake of the Malayalam film with the same title. So when Ajay was asked what does he think about this remake trend, he opined, “The film has been treated in a different manner. There are a lot of changes. You won’t see Akshaye’s character in the original. You will feel, this is a fresh film.” Directed by Abhishek Pathak, ‘Drishyam 2’ stars Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran and Rajat Kapoor accompanying Ajay and Tabu. The film releases November 18th.
