Filmfare OTT Awards 2022 were held yesterday. Abhishek Bachchan and his film, ‘Dasvi’, won the Best Actor and Best Film awards respectively. A proud moment for any father when his son does well and living legend Amitabh Bachchan is no different. Taking to social media, Big B said, “My pride… my joy… you have proved your point! You were derided, ridiculed, mocked… but you silently, without any tom-tomming, showed your mettle. You are, and shall ever be, the best.” ‘Dasvi’ is a story of a politician who doesn’t complete his 10th grade. He is jailed for some reason and on the challenge of a female jail superintendent played by Yami Gautam, completes his 10th while being imprisoned. Directed by Tushar Jalota, ‘Dasvi’ received good response from the public.
