Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant seems to have fallen on the wrong side of law this time. On a complaint from another actress and model Sherlyn Chopra, Rakhi Sawant was summoned at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai. Rakhi was detained for a few hours for questioning and later arrested on the basis of First Information Report (FIR). Fearing arrest, Rakhi had filed an anticipatory bail application before a sessions court in Mumbai on Wednesday. Sadly, the anticipatory bail application was rejected. After Sherlyn’s complaint of Rakhi making inappropriate videos and photos of the former go viral, Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections 354A (sexual harassment of the nature of unwelcome physical contact and advances or a demand or request for sexual favours showing pornography), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 504 (insult intended to provoke breach of peace) and provisions of the Information Technology Act are slapped against her.
