Akshay Kumar added another blockbuster to his resume with ‘Rowdy Rathore’. Released in 2012, ‘Rowdy Rathore’ went on to become an instant hit and hence the news about its sequel hardly surprised anyone. But what was surprising is that ‘Rowdy Rathore 2’ may have Sidharth Malhotra instead of Akshay Kumar! Some media reports suggest that Sidharth is expected to replace Akki in the role of a police officer. The iconic character has become almost synonymous with Akshay Kumar and hence Sidharth replacing the former only comes out as surprising news. While the confirmation from the team is still awaited, ‘Rowdy Rathore 2’ is expected to hit the floors in May this year and is scheduled to have a start-to-finish schedule.
