Taking a cue from many of her colleagues, Sonakshi Sinha too has jumped on to the OTT bandwagon. The actress will soon be in Amazon Prime Video’s original series ‘Dahaad’. It is the first Indian series to premiere at The Berlinale International Film Festival and will now premiere on Prime Video on May 12. Accompanying Sonakshi will be Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah in the lead roles. Directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, ‘Dahaad’ will see Sonakshi playing a fierce lady cop, who strives to solve a gruesome murder case, with an unsuspecting criminal on the loose in the 8-part crime series. Reema Kagti has also created this drama in association with Zoya Akhtar, which will be produced jointly by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby.
