After ‘Mission Mangal’ in 2018, Vidya Balan charmed fans with her OTT presence in films like ‘Sherni’, ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Shakuntala Devi’. The pandemic forced her films to screen on streaming platforms but the actress is back to entertain fans in theatres with a thrilling whodunnit. Vidya will be seen essaying the role of a detective in ‘Neeyat’, which is helmed by Anu Menon of ‘Shakuntala Devi’ fame. This suspense thriller narrates the story of an unlikely detective who investigates mysterious murders at a billionaire’s party where nothing is what it seems to be. Scheduled to hit the screens on July 7th, the entertainer also features Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Amrita Puri and Shahana Goswami among others. Apart from this, Vidya also has ‘Lover’, co-starring Pratik Gandhi and Ileana D’Cruz, in the pipeline.
