As soon as the makers of ‘Merry Christmas’ announced the release date of their film along with the first look poster, Karan Johar lashed out in a cryptic post on his newly-opened Threads account. The makers of Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Merry Christmas’ have announced that their film will release on December 15, 2023 which is the same day the KJo produced ‘Yodha’ is scheduled to hit the theatres. Wanting to avoid this clash, Karan said, “Clashing on a date without the courtesy of a phone call is hopefully not the way forward for the studios and producers. If we don’t stand united in these tough and challenging theatrical days then calling us a fraternity is futile.” ‘Yodha’ is headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani.
