Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao may have separated as husband and wife, but the two have not stopped working with each other on the professional front. Aamir has co-produced ‘Laapataa Ladies’ which is directed by Kiran and the same was showcased at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Sharing his emotions to the response the film received, Aamir said, “I am absolutely thrilled with the audience, press and industry response to ‘Laapataa Ladies’. I feel especially proud of Kiran, and her emergence as a strong voice in the popular space! I can’t wait for the film to release now, which will be on 5th January.” The film is a comedy drama directed by Kiran Rao, after she helmed ‘Dhobi Ghat’ way back in 2011.
