The makers of ‘Merry Christmas’ announced a new release date for the Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathy starrer today. The murder mystery, helmed by Sriram Raghavan will arrive one week early from its previous date. ‘Merry Christmas’ will now hit the screens on December 8th and releasing on the same date is the Karan Johar produced ‘Yodha’. KJo also announced the same today, revealing that Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani-starrer action entertainer will have a theatrical release on December 8th. Previously, both the films were to clash on December 15th. The clash continues, but a week earlier. Lamenting about releasing on the same day, Karan had previously shared, “Clashing on a date without the courtesy of a phone call is hopefully not the way forward for the studios and producers. If we don’t stand united in these tough and challenging theatrical days then calling us a fraternity is futile.”
