Telugu director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ is releasing this week and the film is dubbed in four Southern languages other than the original being released in Hindi. The film’s lead actor, Ranbir Kapoor said that the team tried dubbing in Telugu with his voice but it was the director who asked him to drop the idea, “We tried but Sandeep said that when I mouth Telugu dialogues, there is a North-Indian accent to it. So we didn’t want the Telugu-speaking audience to get distracted by that. But it is something which I will definitely be more conscious about. Maybe next time, when I do a film, it will appeal to a larger fanbase.” ‘Animal’ will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on December 1st.
