Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif have teamed up for Sriram Raghavan’s mystery thriller ‘Merry Christmas’. Admiring his co-star and hailing her skills in front of the camera, Vijay said, “Katrina is someone I deeply admire. She’s a methodical actor, who plans each scene. Even if she does not agree with your perspective, she listens attentively.” The actor was last seen essaying a villain opposite Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Jawan’ and his character in ‘Merry Christmas’ also comes across as a twisted one. Joking about his penchant for such roles, Vijay said, “Everything is complex. Standing in front of the camera is always difficult. I enjoy doing villainous roles so much. I can’t torture or kill anyone in real life. So when I get a chance to express, I do it wholeheartedly.” ‘Merry Christmas’ is releasing on January 12th 2024.
