The Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Black’ released 19 years ago and immediately made its way into people’s hearts. Now, almost two decades later, the film has made its way to an OTT giant. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Black’ is released on Netflix and the cast and crew are getting nostalgic. Talking about the cult film, Rani, who played a sensory deprived person in the film says, “It is overwhelming and hugely gratifying to see that ‘Black’ is receiving so much love from the audience even after 19 years with its OTT release. It is always humbling to see your work reach a wider audience.” While Rani played a differently abled character with elan, Bachchan portrayed the role of her teacher in ‘Black’ to perfection which released in February 2005.
