Oscar Awards for the year 2024 were handed out in Hollywood on Sunday night. And even our Bollywood stars could not keep calm for the prestigious event. After the several awards were announced, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam Dhar and many other celebrities took to social media to shower their love and support for winners. Robert Downey Jr won his first ever Oscar for his performance as Lewis Strauss in ‘Oppenheimer’. Kareena Kapoor shared his speech and called it “genius”. When a user said, “The ‘O’ in ‘Oppenheimer’ stands for Oscars,” Arjun latched-on to it expressing himself as, “Well… well… well….” Yami Gautam Dhar, on the other hand, had a long note to share her feelings, “Having no belief in any of the current fake ‘filmy’ awards, since the last few years, I stopped attending them. But today I am feeling really happy for an extraordinary actor who stands for patience, resilience and so many more emotions. Watching him being honoured on the biggest global platform tells us that in the end it’s your talent that stands the tallest above anything. Congratulations, Cillian Murphy!”
