Tabu’s star continues to rise as she joins the cast of the highly-anticipated Hollywood series, ‘Dune: Prophecy’. As per media reports, Tabu has secured a recurring role which serves as a prequel to Denis Villeneuve’s acclaimed film ‘Dune’ released in 2021. In this upcoming series, Tabu will portray the character of Sister Francesca, a role that promises depth and intrigue. Based on the novel ‘Sisterhood of Dune’ by Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson, ‘Dune: Prophecy’ was originally titled ‘Dune: The Sisterhood’ when it was greenlit in 2019. The series takes viewers back 10,000 years before the emergence of Paul Atreides, delving deep into the vast universe of ‘Dune’. It explores the origins of the powerful Bene Gesserit sisterhood through the enthralling narrative of two Harkonnen sisters engaged in a battle against formidable forces that threaten the future of humanity.
