After gaining experience behind the camera and in theatre, Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan is lucky to have Yash Raj Films’ ‘Maharaj’ as his debut acting vehicle. The first look poster of this OTT movie, which is inspired from the 1862 Maharaja Libel Case, was released today, and it promises to be an intense watch. While a seasoned actor like Jaideep Ahlawat essays the titular role, Junaid will be seen playing the role of journalist Karsandas Mulji. Announcing its release, Netflix issued a statement, “The fight for the truth between a powerful man and a fearless journalist. Based on true events – ‘Maharaj’ is releasing on 14 June, only on Netflix!” Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, the intense and gripping story, ‘Maharaj’, also stars Sharvari Wagh and Shalini Pandey.
