The much-awaited film ‘Lahore 1947’ has officially concluded its rigorous 70-day shoot marking the end of an intense production phase with no pauses. Under the esteemed banner of Aamir Khan Productions, this project unites a powerhouse trio: Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol and director Rajkumar Santoshi who have never collaborated before. “It’s been a fantastic experience to see stalwart actors bring a magical quality to the film. Once the edit will be locked, there will be a few days of patch work… but largely the film has finished shooting. Raj-ji has been very excited with what they have been able to capture. There have been several crowd sequences that have been shot,” says a source close to the shoot. The production’s final update reveals that the climax features an intricate train sequence poised to be one of the most ambitious ever in a Partition-era film.
