After a fairly quiet year, Akshay Kumar is enthused to begin 2025 in a grand manner. Reports suggests that ‘Sky Force’ which is set against the backdrop of the 1965 India-Pakistan war, is being readied for release during Republic Day weekend. Being touted as India’s ‘first and deadliest’ air strike, this movie was initially planned for a release on October 2, 2024, during the Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. However, the makers have now planned to release the first glimpse of the movie during Christmas as a run up to the film’s theatrical release around January 26th weekend in the coming year. Interestingly, arriving on the same date is the Aamir Khan backed and Sunny Deol starrer period drama Lahore, 1947. Even if not patriotism, the latter talks about the time of Independence.
