Now, all eyes are on his much-anticipated film ‘Deva’ set to be the first major release of 2025. Fans are buzzing with excitement as Shahid has been sharing glimpses of his upcoming projects, including a recent mirror selfie on Instagram. His cryptic caption about his character in ‘Deva’ has left his followers intrigued and eager for more, “Prep time… ‘Naya saal, naya maal…’ Next character, next film – what can I do that I haven’t before… lost in the woods… But you can’t be original if you aren’t ready to be lost. Deva was dark and menacing yet vulnerable and noble. Who will this new guy be? No friggin clue so far. But what a joy to discover yet again what lies within,” hinting at a fresh and mysterious role. He further teased his next character by stating, “Sliding into the edgy, nasty gangster of 90s.” Directed by Rosshan Andrrews from Malayalam cinema, ‘Deva’ marks Shahid Kapoor’s return to the big screen after nearly a year.
