Varun Dhawan is going all out for the promotions of his upcoming action film ‘Baby John’ and he recently recalled taking inspiration from Bollywood’s very own angry young man for the movie. Speaking about referencing Amitabh Bachchan for his own action shots, Varun shared, “I liked ‘Hum’ and it featured Rajinikanth sir and Govindaji. And Mukul Anand is one of my favorite directors. When he made the film, it was ahead of its time. The way he had shown the past and present of Amitji, it was great. Amitji has done so many iconic films, there’s so much to learn from him. The newer generation of actors should not forget that bible. There’s a shot in ‘Hum’ where he fights and then runs. I thought of that scene while doing this film.” Directed by Kalees, ‘Baby John’ marks the Bollywood debut of Keerthy Suresh and is all set to hit the screens on December 25th.
