Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty have established themselves as one of Bollywood’s most iconic actor-director duos delivering a string of blockbuster films that have left an indelible mark on Indian cinema. From action-packed thrillers to rib-tickling comedies, their collaboration spans numerous successful ventures including ‘Zameen’, the ‘Golmaal’ franchise, ‘Singham’, ‘Bol Bachchan’, and ‘Sooryavanshi’. According to reports, they are set to reunite for their 14th film together – ‘Golmaal FIVE’ – which is scheduled to hit screens in 2027. Currently, Rohit Shetty is immersed in filming the Rakesh Maria biopic with John Abraham in Mumbai, a project expected to wrap by September 2025. With post-production slated to conclude by the end of the year for an early 2026 release, the filmmaker has a meticulously planned a roadmap ahead. Once the biopic is complete, he will shift gears to ‘Golmaal FIVE’, kicking off pre-production before taking the film to floors in February-March 2026. The storyline for ‘Golmaal FIVE’ has been finalized and fresh talent in the writing department is hard at work on the screenplay. The script is expected to be locked by September 2025 with additional refinements including dialogues and final tweaks. With anticipation building around this latest installment, fans of the franchise can look forward to yet another dose of entertainment, laughter, and high-energy storytelling.
