Suhana Khan, daughter of film icon Shah Rukh Khan has become the center of a land acquisition controversy in Alibaug which is a seaside town popular among Mumbai’s elite. The issue stems from her purchase of agricultural land through Deja Vu Farm Pvt Ltd, a company reportedly linked to her maternal relatives. Valued at over ₹22 crore across two transactions in 2023 and 2024, the land was originally designated for farming under state law. Legal experts have raised concerns over the legitimacy of the deal, citing that such land cannot be transferred to non-farmers without prior government clearance. Intriguingly, Suhana was listed as a “farmer” in documents, a designation that has triggered an official inquiry. As the investigation unfolds, neither Suhana nor her family has commented publicly  leaving the matter shrouded in speculation and legal ambiguity.
