Speculation around the credits for the recreated track ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ in Sunny Deol’s upcoming film ‘Border 2’ has finally been addressed by Anu Malik himself. Contrary to claims that the veteran composer was overlooked, Malik confirmed that he has been duly acknowledged and expressed pride in the association. In his official statement, he remarked, “I would like to clarify about the song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ that Bhushanji has already credited me with immense warmth and respect. This is a unique collaboration that I am genuinely proud of and I have also shared my thoughts publicly across my social media platforms. Any reports suggesting otherwise are based on incorrect reporting. I stand by this collaboration with pride and gratitude.” The teaser of the track showcased the voices of Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Vishal Mishra and Diljit Dosanjh. While the original composition belongs to Malik, the new version has been arranged by Mithoon, with lyrics blending Javed Akhtar’s original lines and fresh contributions from Manoj Muntashir Shukla.
