Audiences finally got a glimpse of ‘Bhooth Bangla’ when its trailer was unveiled. The launch was filled with laughter and stories, one of which Akshay Kumar chose to share from the film’s shoot. He recalled filming at Jaipur’s Chomu Palace, a location that had also hosted ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ back in 2006. During the shoot of ‘Bhooth Bangla’ a fan approached him creating a memory he now treasures. “She asked for a selfie but didn’t show her face! She stuck to her culture. I can never forget this, this was the beauty of Rajasthan,” he said, showing the picture of himself with the veiled woman. In many regions of India, women observe traditions that involve covering their faces in front of men outside their family, revealing it only to their husbands. For Akshay, the encounter became more than just a photograph, it became a symbol of respect for local customs. As for the film itself, ‘Bhooth Bangla’ is set to arrive in cinemas on April 17th.
