Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra became parents for the first time when their daughter Saraayah Malhotra was born on July 15, 2025. Reflecting on that period, Kiara opened up in a podcast conversation with Raj Shamani, describing the emotional challenges she faced after delivery and the role her husband played in easing them, “There was a point where my emotions were going all over the place, and he was promoting his movie. So he would come late at night, stay with the baby and me, and then return to work in the morning. At that time, I don’t know if it was me missing him or what, but everything was triggering me. Anything would make me cry. He would take me out for a drive every night. Sometimes I just wanted to vent without getting advice in return.” Despite the intensity of new motherhood, Kiara resumed her professional commitments in December, only five months after Saraayah’s birth. She also revealed that her film ‘Toxic’ had been in production throughout her pregnancy, with her performing demanding action sequences during those months.
