Salman Khan has begun ushering in anticipation for his forthcoming project ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace’. Before the film reaches audiences, he chose to unveil a rough cut in an intimate gathering that brought together a constellation of familiar names from cinema. Subhash Ghai, Sooraj Barjatya, David Dhawan, Kabir Khan, Rumy Jafry, Riteish Deshmukh and Chitrangda Singh were among those who shared the evening with him. Ghai later reflected on the moment, saying, “It was so beautiful to see my favourite directors together at food square today to watch a rough cut of the Apoorva Lakhia film ‘Maatrubhumi’ with lead stars Salman Khan and Chitrangada Singh. Thank you, dear Salman, for inviting us and we wish you grand success of such a positive film. With all our blessings,” along with sharing a picture from the event. The occasion became less about a screening and more about a rare communion of creative minds, united in their support for Apoorva Lakhia’s patriotic drama. While the film’s release date remains under wraps, the preview has already stirred curiosity about what lies ahead.
