Speaking to Variety India, Aamir confirmed, “I’m currently traveling in the US. The news about the marriage is true. It’s on July 5th.” The relationship, which he made public on his 60th birthday in March last year has steadily drawn attention. Gauri, who is based in Bengaluru, has been by his side for some time. The announcement signals a change from his earlier reflections on marriage when he had suggested that he and Gauri were content sharing their new home without formalizing the bond.
