The much-anticipated ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ will hit theatres during Diwali in both 2026 and 2027 featuring powerhouse stars Ranbir Kapoor and Yash. To build anticipation, makers unveiled ‘Jai Jai Ram’ on Ganesh Chaturthi – a devotional anthem created by composer A.R. Rahman and lyricist Dr Kumar Vishwas. The track sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal serves as audiences’ first window into the film’s spiritual world. But what hit the headlines was Arijit’s recording process which was exceptionally demanding, with the vocalist reportedly executing nearly 200 versions before capturing the perfect rendition! His commitment went beyond technical precision; he fully surrendered to the song’s spiritual essence, continuing each take while exploring deeper emotional layers. The accompanying visuals reinforce the mythological grandeur, showcasing Ranbir Kapoor embodying Lord Rama alongside Sai Pallavi’s portrayal of Goddess Sita.
