Despite mixed reviews, multi-starrer ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ (‘DDD’) seems to be like a milking cow for its makers. Thanks to the biggies like Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar and Anil Kapoor featuring in the film, along with director like Zoya Akhtar helming the project, the film has fetched in nearly Rs 50 crore net from the Indian market in the first five days. Add to it another Rs 20 crore gross from the international market. Having such ensemble names being attached to the film, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ is expected to hit at least a 100-200 crores which is generally the norm for such commercial potboilers. Released on June 5, whether ‘DDD’ would be able to achieve this feat or not, only time will tell.
