Tabu will be seen playing a tough taskmaster in her next release ‘Drishyam’. She plays the role of an Inspector General and the actress states that the role could easily be portrayed by any other male actor. “Now that I am playing an IG, the command over the force is much greater. When you see it in the context of the film, it is great that such a role was written for a woman. It could have easily been done by a man but a woman is doing it,” said Tabu. The film has Ajay Devgn playing the role of a simple cable operator and how circumstances bring them opposite each other.
