Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, in the wake of the ongoing #MeToo movement in Bollywood, announced to step away from a film with someone who has been accused of sexual misconduct. Buzz suggests that Aamir Khan Productions was to back ‘Mogul’, which will be helmed by filmmaker Subhash Kapoor, who has been accused of molestation by actress Geetika Tyagi in 2014. “It was brought to our attention that someone we were about to begin work with has been accused of sexual misconduct. We found out that this particular case is sub judice. So, without casting any aspersions or conclusions about the allegations, we have decided to step away from this film,” shared Aamir Khan.
