Ayushmann Khurrana will soon present a serious cop act in ‘Article 15’, which is inspired from the real-life events of discrimination on the basis of religion, race and cast. Speaking about the film, Ayushmann says, “Every film has a different intention. We enjoy ‘Dabangg’, ‘Singham’ and Simmba’ because their intention is comedy and entertainment. But with ‘Article 15’, we want to give a social message. The tonality and genre are different.” Adding about taking inspiration for his character from Bollywood’s cops, Ayushmann said, “I really enjoyed watching Aamir (Khan) sir’s ‘Sarfarosh’, (Amitabh) Bachchan sir in ‘Zanjeer’ and Manoj (Bajpayee) sir’s ‘Shool’, that inspired me.”
