Artificial Intelligence (AI) has blurred the lines between reality and fiction leading to many falling for false narratives. Most recent case being that of Aamir Khan, whose AI-generated poster is doing the rounds online and social media. The actor is depicted as Guru Nanak in the said picture which announced that a teaser trailer of the same would be released soon. Reacting to this image, an official statement from Aamir Khan’s team read, “The poster showing Aamir Khan as Guru Nanak is completely fake and AI-generated. Aamir Khan has no connection to any such project. He holds the highest respect for Guru Nanak and would never be part of anything disrespectful. Please don’t fall for fake news.” Not just Aamir Khan, the fake poster also stated that the project would be bankrolled by T-Series.
