‘Laapataa Ladies’ starring Ravi Kishan, Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava and Chhaya Kadam is about to release soon. But nobody knew that Aamir Khan had auditioned for the role played by Ravi Kishan. At the film’s event, producer and Aamir’s former wife, Kiran Rao revealed, “We wanted to test Aamir. He even auditioned for the role. It was my idea itself to get him on board. In fact, Aamir had liked the role a lot and wanted to do it. But it’s a small film. We wanted to make it believable and real. So when you add a star value to it, the balance gets disturbed. Expectations rise that the stars will do something special.” And that’s the reason Aamir and Kiran both agreed to let Ravi do the role in the film which releases on March 1st.
