Once a film is a hit, trust makers to come up with their sequels and remakes. With a dearth in strong stories and scripts, this is rather becoming a norm in Btown. Now Bhushan Kumar is gearing up to churn out spin-offs of his father, the late Gulshan Kumar’s past hits. Senior Kumar was the man behind such cult films as ‘Aashiqui’ (1990) and ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin’ (1991). Following in his father’s footsteps, Bhushan will yet again back both the films after making ‘Aashiqui 2’ in 2013. Murmurs are getting louder that ‘Aashiqui 3’ and ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin’ sequels could be directed by Mahesh Bhatt himself who had helmed the earlier projects.
