Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming OTT release, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ has finally got a release date. The film is scheduled to hit Prime Video in March this year. Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Kannan Iyer, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ will precisely release on March 21st 2024, being a special day. Revealing the same, Sara Ali Khan said, “‘Desh ki kahaani, Usha ki zubaani, World Radio Day par’!” As the title itself suggests, the film has a patriotic flavour and is loosely based on freedom fighter Usha Mehta during the Quit India Movement. The story though, remains fictional. It talks about how an underground radio station carved-out the course of India’s freedom struggle in the country’s history. Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav and Alexx O’Neil will accompany Sara along with a guest appearance by Emraan Hashmi.
