Vaani Kapoor steps into the role of Ajay’s on-screen wife succeeding Ileana D’Cruz from the original ‘Raid’. Responding to a query on this change, Ajay Devgn remarked, “That’s true, but the character can change. I mean, if you see a lot of Hollywood films also, you know Sean Connery is no more James Bond. It’s the character you follow.” The gripping trailer showcases Ajay Devgn as Amay Patnaik knocking on the door of Riteish Deshmukh, playing the influential politician Dadabhai, marking his 75th raid. Determined to unearth Dadabhai’s concealed wealth, Amay Patnaik’s relentless pursuit is met with fierce resistance from the former, who strategizes to thwart the investigation. The film helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta is slated for a theatrical release on May 1st.
