Ajay Devgn has finished shooting for the first scheduled of his upcoming Bollywood film ‘Maidaan’. Despite torrential rains lashing the Dream City since many days, Ajay wound up his scenes on Wednesday, calling it off for the first schedule in Mumbai. The second round of shoot will also be in Mumbai and will begin only at the end of September, after little respite from rains. ‘Maidaan’ is based on the golden years of Indian football and features Keerthi Suresh and Gajraj Rao apart from Ajay. The Amit Sharma-directed biopic will see Ajay ageing from 1950 to 1963, when it is said that the golden period of football in India lasted for. Ajay will play the football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in this sports biopic.
