Ajay Devgn’s sports drama ‘Maidaan’, which speaks about India’s football story, has finally got a release date. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film is set to hit the screens on November 27, 2020, right after the Diwali celebrations. The shooting of the film is currently going on and will be wrapped by March 2020. ‘Maidaan’ is reportedly heavy on VFX and the makers are putting in every effort to call it a top notch product. Reportedly, a VFX supervisor has been flown in from the Los Angeles to supervise the project. Ajay Devgn will step into the role of Indian football coach and manager of the Indian national team, the late Syed Abdul Rahim.
