Akshay Kumar is known for his charity work, be it donating for a social cause or supporting soldiers of the country. The actor is doing a little something different this time around. In a first, Akshay and director Raghava Lawrence have joined hands to build homes for the transgender community in Chennai. Raghava broke this news on social media, “Akshay Kumar sir is donating Rs 1.5 crores for building a transgender home for the first time in India. During the shoot of ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, I was talking to him about my trust’s projects and shelter for transgender. He told me immediately that he will donate the money for building one without even asking!” Akki and Raghava are working together on ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ in which the actor plays a transgender.
