Akshay Kumar, who plays the negative role in ‘2.0’, skipped the film’s mega release on Thursday as the actor had prior commitments. Khiladi Kumar apparently flew out to Bangkok to attend a friend’s wedding as the sci-fi drama hit the screens back in India. The film has bagged mixed reviews from critics. Early opening numbers suggest an approximate total of Rs 20 crore. Directed by Shankar, ‘2.0’ features Rajinikanth fighting the battle against Akshay Kumar, who is slugging it out for birds. The film is made on an estimated budget of Rs 550 crore and has already recovered Rs 370 crore from digital and satellite rights.
